Osteopathic care focussed on restoring your body’s structure so that your whole system can function at its best.

Osteopaths treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including:
Sporting injuries can stem from a sudden impact, an awkward landing, or simply the cumulative load of training over time. Osteopathic treatment works to restore movement, reduce pain, and address the underlying mechanical issues that may have contributed — so you can return to the sport you love with confidence.
Neck pain commonly develops from prolonged desk work, poor sleep posture, stress, or old whiplash injuries that never fully resolved. Osteopathy works to release tension, restore joint mobility, and identify what’s driving the problem — not just where it hurts.
Lower back pain often arises from a combination of postural strain, muscle imbalance, or stress on the spine from sitting, lifting, or repetitive movement. Osteopathic treatment aims to rebalance the body’s structure, relieve pressure on affected areas, and give you the tools to manage and prevent it long-term.
Many headaches originate from tension and restriction in the neck, upper back, or jaw — often aggravated by stress, screen time, or poor posture. Osteopathy works to release those underlying tensions, helping to reduce both the frequency and intensity of your headaches over time.
Jaw pain and clicking often develop from teeth grinding, stress, neck tension, or postural habits that place strain on the temporomandibular joint. Osteopathic treatment gently addresses the jaw, neck, and surrounding structures together — because they’re far more connected than most people realise.
Arthritis develops as joints experience wear, inflammation, or age-related changes — often leading to stiffness, aching, and reduced movement that affects daily life. While osteopathy can’t reverse the condition, it can meaningfully improve joint mobility, ease surrounding muscle tension, and help you move with greater comfort and confidence.
Bursitis typically develops from repetitive movement, prolonged pressure on a joint, or biomechanical issues that place excessive load on the bursa. Osteopathic care works to identify and address those contributing factors, reduce inflammation, and support a smoother, more complete recovery.
These injuries often develop through overuse, poor load management, or compensating movement patterns built up over time. Osteopathy helps identify what’s driving the strain, supports the healing process, and guides a gradual return to full strength — so the same injury doesn’t keep coming back.

Osteopathy is a hands-on approach to healthcare that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure and how it functions. Osteopaths assess and treat the muscles, joints, and connective tissues to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support your body’s natural ability to heal. It’s suitable for people of all ages and a wide range of conditions — from back and neck pain to headaches, sports injuries, and more.
Your first appointment will typically run for 60-minutes. We’ll start by taking a thorough health history and asking about what’s brought you in. From there, we’ll carry out a physical assessment and, with your consent, begin treatment in the same session. We’ll also chat through what we found and put together a plan to get you feeling better.
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is ideal — think activewear or clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. It’s also helpful to bring along any relevant scans, X-rays, or referral letters if you have them, as well as your Medicare card and any private health insurance details.
Please note that we do not treat children under the age of 5 at our clinic. If you’re looking for a paediatric osteopath, please get in touch and we’ll happily refer you to someone we know and trust. For children aged 5 and up, we use gentle, age-appropriate techniques and can help with things like postural concerns, growing pains, and sports injuries. Parents are always welcome to stay present throughout the entire appointment.
Yes! Osteopaths can refer directly for X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasounds without needing to go through your GP. The only imaging for which patients will receive a Medicare rebate is X-rays of the spine and hips — all other imaging referred by an Osteopath will incur an out-of-pocket cost. That said, many patients find it more convenient to go directly through us rather than making a separate GP appointment. If we feel any imaging would help with your diagnosis or treatment plan, we’ll talk you through the options and costs involved.
We know life gets busy and plans don’t always go accordingly — we totally get it! As a small clinic, we kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. A full cancellation fee will apply for no-shows or cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice. Thank you for your understanding and support!
